I arrived Yola on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 for my 5-day ministry visit to Adamawa State. The first scheduled event was to meet with the Deputy Governor of the state, a believer and a member of the ministry where I was a guest. My host, the General Overseer of Truth Foundation Ministries informed me that the visit would be around 10 am on Thursday, November 23, 2023. I went to bed with that time in mind. A little after 8 in the morning, he came to my hotel room wondering if I had seen his text message. Apparently, he had called earlier and resorted to sending text message when he could not get me. Unfortunately, my phone shut down automatically because of flat battery. He had tried to informed me that the visit to Her Excellency would be 9 am and not 10 am as previously communicated. By this time it was about 20 minutes before 9 am. You have never seen a quicker shower than I had that morning. The point is, if I had taken time to turn my phones on when I woke up, I would have been acquainted with the review of my itinerary that day.

The point is that we need a morning by morning engagement with the Father so we can be on the same page with what Heaven is doing each day.

You must be familiar with Jesus’ morning routine as recorded in Mark 1:35 – “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” This verse is intertwined with out text. It is one of several messianic prophecies penned down by Isaiah. Jesus had His faculties quickened every morning in the course of prayer. It was at such moment that the Father gave Him the schedule for each day. He testified that He said and did nothing other than what He had seen the Father do. The point is that we need a morning by morning engagement with the Father so we can be on the same page with what Heaven is doing each day.
