Sometime in November last year, I had an urgent need to go somewhere. My aides had all gone out for different missions so I was compelled to drive by myself. When I got into the JMC truck, I realized that I could not start it! I hadn’t driven it before. I had to put a call across to one of the men who was used to it. He gave me some tutorial on phone, and I succeeded in turning on the engine. In my predicament, I turned to someone who was acquainted with the vehicle and the information he gave me was quite helpful.
At the start of a new year, who knows the way that we can call for help? No one except God…Those who trust Him will not miss their steps.
At the start of a new year, who knows the way that we can call for help? No one except God. When Israel was to cross the Jordan river, God instructed the priests to go ahead, bearing the ark. The rest of the people were to follow their lead, but not without caution. They were to leave a space between themselves and those carrying the ark. The reason for that was because “you have not passed this way before.” No one has passed through 2026 before, so we need not act familiar. It is God who sees the end from the beginning, and only Him can offer proper direction in navigating the year. Those who trust Him will not miss their steps.
