We made a mission trip to Malawi and Tanzania in September of this year. I had a Business Class ticket, courtesy of Dr. Ben Omomia. Owing to a delay in the first part of the journey, we had to spend a night in Addis Ababa. The following morning, a staff of the hotel directed me to opposite my lodge for breakfast. On getting there, an attendant at the restaurant directed me to another building, stating that that was for Business Class passengers. Guess which building I was referred to? The same one where I lodged. Inaccurate information can send you in the wrong direction, wasting your time and energy.
Well, the staff who directed me to the wrong place did not do so on purpose. Likely, he did not know what category of ticket I had. That is pardonable. However, John warned in his letter that in the last days, many deceivers will be in the world. These are people who peddle wrong doctrines and information. Their goal is to dupe people and lead them to destruction. It behoves everyone to test the information they are receiving if they align with the provisions of the Bible. Everybody must strive to study the Bible in order to guard against the spirit of error.
