The Bible did not underrate the power of one. Take a look at some references. “From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries.” Acts of the Apostles 17:26 NLT. According to the United Nations estimate as at January 13, 2025, the world’s population is 8.231 billion. All humans trace their ancestry to one man – Adam. That shows the power of one. Here is another scripture – “Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.” Hebrews 11:12 NKJV. This verse is about Abraham, a man through whom the entire Jewish race emanated.
One man can influence the course of life positively or negatively. Go with the understanding that you have great influence, and be mindful of using it in a way that will bless mankind and glorify God.
The madman of Gadara became an evangelist to 10 cities. Of course, the original sin and man’s eventual salvation are traced to a man. Adam brought the plague of sin on mankind, but Jesus brought redemption to us. At the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, all the churches had rest! One man was saved, and all the churches had respite. One man can influence the course of life positively or negatively. Go with the understanding that you have great influence, and be mindful of using it in a way that will bless mankind and glorify God.
