My French class suffered a lull between February and March this year because of my travel to the United Kingdom and United States of America. When I returned, I headed straight into the anniversary of our church in Owerri and from there to other commitments. By the time I returned to class, I had forgotten most of what was previously learned. The first thing here is the power of focus. When focus is broken, progress comes to a halt. The secret to achieving anything is consistency. No matter what you want to do, commit to regular input, no matter how little.
If the Holy Spirit is not tired of helping we must never be tired of asking Him for help. With Him on our sides, we can scale the highest mountain.
Both before the trip and after, when I tried to put together again the fragments of what I had learned, I would commit some grammatical blunders. However, my teachers were so reassuring . No matter the gravity of the mistakes, they would tell me not to worry, and that is the reason they are there for me. Then they would go over the same thing over and over again. They remind one of the Holy Spirit. Before Jesus left, He promised the believers that He would send them the Holy Spirit. He called Him the Teacher who will teach all things. I imagine that every time we miss a thing, the Spirit brings us reassurance. He tells us that’s why He is here with us. He goes over the same stuff with us again and again. Here is the point: if the Holy Spirit is not tired of helping we must never be tired of asking Him for help. With Him on our sides, we can scale the highest mountain.
