Sometime in May of this year, I came across some mind-boggling information. I learned that there are more stars in the galaxies than all the sand on the beaches globally! As I pressed further, I came across more outstanding facts. For instance, the sun is our star and is deemed to be of average size. With that, it has a diameter of about 1.4 million kilometers. If an average star is this huge, how much more would a standard star be? The significance of these facts lies in the undeniable truth that God is truly great, both in His creation and in all His ways. Having this understanding will put our needs in proper perspective, making them seem small in light of God’s greatness and faithfulness. 

God is unlimited and He can give us any of the good things that make for life and godliness. More often than not, we are the ones who draw the line and determine how far He can go.

The Bible is full of wonderful provisions for the redeemed. Paul told Timothy that God gives us all things freely to enjoy. More often than not, we are the ones who draw the line and determine how far He can go. Our lead scripture tells us what happened when Jesus returned to His home country, where He had been raised up. He could not replicate the mighty miracles He did elsewhere. By their unbelief, they set the limits on the amount of God’s power to be transferred into their lives. Unbelief is a lid. When we take it off, we increase our chances of enjoying more of the grace of God. It is high time we began to see things from God’s perspective.
