WALKING BY THE SPIRIT
If we treat the Holy Spirit the way the driver and I treated the GPS, always imposing our way over His, we will end up grieving Him. Compliance, and not contradiction, is the way to walk by the Spirit.

A little pause and a little meditation, a little word of prayer every now and then will usher us into God’s manifest presence.
The Bible does not condemn humour but frowns at obscenities and profanities. We can use humour to unlock the door of knowledge or lift someone’s spirit.
Today, we are beneficiaries of the labour of heroes past – heroes of faith and in other fields. We also should labour with coming generations in mind.
Until one identifies what to do, there is no chance of living a life of significance. Identifying a passionate cause will save you from distractions…Great lives are known for their passion.
It is indescribable what the grace of God can make happen for a life. Yesterday, we learned that believers are ambassadors.
As ambassadors of Christ, we should do what He would have done if He was physically present. Wherever we find ourselves, we must never forget that we are planted there for a reason.
A first impression hardly gives the true picture of people, especially in this age of packaging. I have often heard that we should not judge a book by its cover. This is more like saying don’t rely on the first impression.
Even if we are feeble individually, tremendous results can be achieved in concert. As little as the ants are, they have mastered the importance of team work to secure the future.
The world is experiencing increasing cases of mental health problems. This may not be unconnected to how people subject themselves to pressure to perform.
