Physical beauty holds little profit. However, it is the beauty of the inner life that is profitable for the present life and life in the world to come.

Your quest for restoration must have its root in the word of God. Here is a closing thought.

One of the critical factors that bring restoration is taking time to sow into the lives of others who may be in need of recovery or any other predicament.

The pre-Adamic world was taken over by Lucifer. Reading the creation story in Genesis 1 is an exercise in restoration.

Previously, we noted that God’s work runs across generations. The way to walk with Him is only to think of generations. Let us turn to a vital issue for today.

Those who make great impact are those who have their eyes on the future and not on a little time frame.

In our previous meditation, we mentioned one of the twin-prayer of David in this verse. He asked for the abiding presence of the Lord. We understand that it takes the presence of the Lord to level obstacles and birth dreams into reality.

There are two prayers in this abridged verse of scripture. As a quick background, the entire chapter captures David’s penitent prayer after he was rebuked for his sin.

Firstly, He gives strength to the anointed. “The Lord is their strength, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed.” Psalms 28:8 NKJV.

It is the presence of the Lord that gives us joy in full. God’s Spirit gives joy. Through Him our mourning can turn to dancing, and ashes to beauty.
