Isaiah 34:16 gave us a hint of how the word came to be – ““Search from the book of the Lord, and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them.”
“Praise is key to the realm of the Spirit.”
Our text reveals a requirement for accessing the voice of God. The Message translation makes it clearer. “Blessed are the people who know the passwords of praise, who shout on parade in the bright presence of God.” (MSG). That’s beautiful, isn’t it? Learn to enter the password of praise; and it will be up to God to speak to you through whatever means. The prophets of old often went to the mount with musical instruments as they tried to access the mind of God. Elisha called for the minstrel before he received the prophetic word. In Acts 13, certain prophets and teachers were ministering to the Lord. They were not preaching to any crowd; they just put in the password of praise. The outcome of this was the voice of the Holy Spirit which led to the commissioning of Barnabas and Saul. Even John engaged the same password on the Isle of Patmos. Praise is key to the realm of the Spirit.
