Psalm 103 contains a list of God’s benefits to us. They include forgiveness of sins, healing, provisions, deliverances, and a crowning of our efforts which translates to success or breakthrough. It is exciting to know that no day passes without one or more of these benefits placed at our disposal. An illustration of this is the provision which the children of Israel enjoyed in the wilderness. God provided for them throughout their years in the wilderness. He gave them manna; and when they asked for meat He supplied the quails. The provision of manna was particularly instructive. “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk inMy law or not.” (
“Gratitude will turn the benefits into an-ever flowing fountain for you.”
Regardless of the pervading negative news everywhere, each day has enough supply to cheer the heart. How do we appropriate these benefits? One way is to believe! You have to believe that God is good, and He has good things reserved for you every new day He allows you to see. Again, you have to go to God in prayer. Jesus taught the disciples to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread”. Thirdly, fill your mouth with positive confessions that you are living daily in the reality of God’s benefits. Finally, be thankful. Gratitude will turn the benefits into an-ever flowing fountain for you.
