God is the custodian of deep things. In other words, the secret things belong to Him as our text says. A disclosure of one of such secrets can turn a life around. Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that he could not remember, not to talk of grasping its meaning. When his wise men and the astrologers in his kingdom could not recall his dream, he condemned them to death. That moved Daniel and his three other colleagues to seek the face of the Lord concerning the dilemma. God did not only replay the dream to Daniel, He also gave him its interpretation. As a result of that, those who would have been killed were kept alive. Also, many women and children who would have become widows and orphans respectively were spared that agony.
God is the custodian of deep things… A disclosure of one of such secrets can turn a life around…Those who walk in the fear of the Lord increase their chances of receiving divine secrets.
The Scripture says that the farmer who labours will be the first partaker of the fruit of his labour, so Daniel who downloaded the secret was not left out. The king promoted him. He further spoke to the king on behalf of his friends who got promoted also. Here is one divine secret having a positive ripple effect. God still has secrets to share, but He doesn’t go about littering everywhere with them. When the conditions are right, God discloses His truths. One of such conditions is the fear of the Lord. Psalm 25:14 says, “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him, and he will show them his covenant.” Those who walk in the fear of the Lord increase their chances of receiving divine secrets.
