One of the times men gets the most destabilized is when they are left at home while everyone else travels. They can get disoriented with trying to find the lighter or where cutleries are kept. The good side of that is the opportunity it provides for men to appreciate the little things their wives and aids do routinely. I found myself in such awkward moments sometime ago. My wife travelled with the domestic staff. So I found myself doing everything. I returned from office one day and it became an issue to open the lock to the gate. I tried several times until I started contemplating going to pass the night somewhere else. Before that, however, I whispered a word to the Holy Spirit. I reminded Him the promise that He would teach me all things, including how to open a lock! After the short prayer, I inserted the key once more and it was eureka! It opened!
To win in life we all must subscribe to the instruction of the Holy Spirit who is the Chief Coach…You cannot have the Holy Spirit as your guide and remain permanently stranded. There is nothing too mundane in your life which the Holy Spirit does not want to have a say in.
We are often confronted with different challenges in life. However, there is not a single moment that we are left to wonder alone. “I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you.” (John 14:18 AMPC). It is one thing to know what ought to be done, but it is quite another to know how to go about it successfully. To win in life we all must subscribe to the instruction of the Holy Spirit who is the Chief Coach. Jesus spoke about Him before His departure. In our text, part of His duties is to guide believers into all truth. Elsewhere, it is noted that He will teach all things. (John 14:26). You cannot have the Holy Spirit as your guide and remain permanently stranded. There is nothing too mundane in your life which the Holy Spirit does not want to have a say in.
