God’s surpassing thoughts and ways are clearly demonstrated in His word. This can be summed up in this verse: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.” Isaiah 55:8 NKJV. An area where God’s operations defy human conventions is timing. God’s timing often goes against the grain of human wisdom. However, God’s time is always the best. Imagine the time that God asked Israel to cross river Jordan into the Promised Land. We understand it was at the time of harvest, that period of the year when Jordan normally overflowed. For a people without boat or any other floatation device, that was hardly the best time to cross the river. If that decision was left to a committee to decide, I am sure they would have voted against it.
God’s time is the time He engages His miracle gear on your behalf and levels the obstacle for good…we know His time through His word and His Spirit. To be in sync with divine timing is to be a man or woman in the Spirit.
The psalmist recognised the importance of divine timing when he said, “My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me.” Psalms 31:15 NKJV. What makes God’s time the best time? It is because that is the time when His grace is unveiled for accomplishment. God’s time is the time He engages His miracle gear on your behalf and levels the obstacle for good. As we see in our passage of Scripture, when the people responded to God’s timing, He rolled back the water and they walked on dry ground. God’s time is not known by watching the physical conditions necessarily; we know His time through His word and His Spirit. To be in sync with divine timing is to be a man or woman in the Spirit.
