The great names can inspire on earth, but the name of Jesus is powerful and applicable in heaven, on earth, and beneath the earth. All knees must bow to the supreme name. That name is now a divine gift to all who believe.
There are several instances where encouragement becomes necessary. It could be at a time when one is on the verge of a breakthrough. What encouragement does at such moments is to supply the momentum to keep at it. Some other times, it is even at the peak of achievement that encouragement is necessary.
David averred that what God said was the reason for the prayer he offered. If you want to be more accurate and effective in prayer, give attention to the word of God. No one can pray amiss while being guided by the word.
If God gave us Jesus, He will freely give us all other things as an addition. Again, if God raised Jesus from the dead, then He can raise us from any valley of despair to a height of glory.
Beyond that, we are also empowered to freely love. We are in a season where God demonstrated the greatest love to us. We have a responsibility to let it spread to others as well.
When He cried, “It is finished”, the age-long problem of sin that plagued mankind was dealt with. Today, as we mark the crucifixion of Jesus, remember that the chain that held you bound has been broken!
In some sense, when we pray it’s like placing an order for some things out of heaven’s table. However, it is not all such orders that make their way to heaven. Many times we are concerned with how long we have been praying over a matter. We don’t check to know if the prayer is received in heaven, to begin with.
