When a child of God faces challenges, he or she should hold on to faith. Those who stay faithful to the word of God will outlive their challenges.

Testimony has its place in our worship of God. Primarily, it is a way to thank God. Many times in the Psalms we read of commitments to telling the deeds of the Lord in the assembly of the saints.

The Jews were expecting to read his obituary; on the contrary, they heard the news of his escape. God indeed has a way of disappointing the counsel of the ungodly.

The puzzle will be resolved before long. I have learned that most actions of God are only understood in retrospect. Never be in a hurry to jettison God’s lead.

Finally, be reminded that God’s angels are still at work. They are permanent attachés to the heirs of God. If you live consciously of them, you will enjoy more of their ministry.

God will show up at the perfect time. We should keep in mind that God alone is the Master Time-Keeper. He will never come one minute late in our affairs.

Their prayer was corporate. The responsibility of praying was not delegated to a segment of the church, all prayed.

Writing to the Corinthians, Paul charged them to not be ignorant of the devil’s strategies. Ignorance of his plans will allow him to have a field day in our lives and the church.

When Roman authorities and the leaders of the Jews killed Jesus, they were only acting out a divine script that became a universal blessing.

Persecution also provides an opportunity to witness the power of God like no other time. God always manifests His power in human extremities.
