To make good our office as kings, we must give heed to the word of God. We are to rule not by human ideas but by the word of God. The word of God is to be our light and lamp so we don’t stumble.

God’s word does not weaken with age. If you are sure that you received a word from the Lord, hold on to it and never be discouraged. Faithful is He who promised who also will do it.

Believers must avoid the temptation of looking down on those in the world, because we were once like them before God called us out by His mercy.

We cannot do the will of God without knowing the voice of the Father; and we cannot know the voice of the Father unless we are intentional in listening and searching for it.

Thoughtless words and deeds are often the root of many regrettable mistakes. Those who act impulsively before they have thoroughly digested issues may have untold missed opportunities and broken relationships.

To walk with God, we must seek to find out what God would have us do in order to bring His counsel to pass.

Doing things at variance to the will of the Lord is presumptuous; we will never enjoy God’s backing that way. God only minds what is in His mind!

The same man left so much wealth behind for the work of the temple. Divine transition can bring an end to poverty and slavery.

Here, divine transition revealed purpose and changed Saul’s circle of influence.

By the time divine transition took place, it ceased to be the rod of Moses and had become the rod of God – a tool for diverse sorts of miracles.
