It is important to know that the Lord is able to finish any work He started provided we allow Him, and remain attuned to the Spirit.

Investing in heaven frees us from distractions of this world. What we do for the kingdom’s sake are the only enduring investments.

Faith is God responding to us based on what He had promised; it is never an arm-twisting device. When you come to demand what God has already purposed, nothing shall be impossible. 

One thing to add from the example of Nehemiah is that it is not a crime to ask God for reward. On no occasion was Nehemiah reprimanded for asking God to remember him.

God rewards faithful labours. There is the earthly dimension of reward meant for here and now; and there is the incorruptible reward reserved for us in heaven.

If we won’t deny our children of what they need and we can afford, we should be assured that God will not withhold anything good from us.

Except we put our hands to the plough, we will be frustrating the grace of God.
