This is authentic Christianity as it was handed down. Railing and fighting are alien to the faith of Jesus. Many other believers direct their anger to imaginary enemies.

There are things that prayer will not fix; accurate knowledge is what we need. Our text reveals the woes of God’s people because of a lack of knowledge.

Working hard on a wrong task is a waste of time and energy. So divine guidance plays a vital role in man’s quest for success.

One of such consequences is fear. The moment Adam disobeyed God, fear set in. “Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” Genesis 3:9-10 NKJV

The Bible did not underrate the power of one. Take a look at some references. “From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries.” Acts of the Apostles 17:26 NLT.

Their mission is to preach the gospel to all creation. This is what is commonly referred to as the Great Commission. Embedded in this commission is doing the greatest good to the greatest number of people.

It is possible to extend this notion of freedom to all our choices. True freedom is not in choosing whatever we want, but the power to choose what pleases God.

According to James, planning and leaving God out of it is not only presumptuous, it is evil. Deference to God in all our ways is deterrence to pride and presumption. 

Genuine legacy comes not by seeking one for ourselves, but by promoting a cause larger than us. More specifically, an abiding legacy comes from God.

As we look into the scriptures, we notice that those who are anxious would press the panic button thereby complicating their situations.
