Today, we are returning to this text which was used when we began the series on THE PATH OF WISDOM. The only difference being that we have added two verses to verse six which was discussed earlier. Two things can be specifically noted in the text as practical demonstration of wisdom. The first is the self-motivating nature of the ants. The Bible records that even though they do not have any appointed supervisor to breathe down heavily on them, they do what is necessary. So wisdom is learning to do what is right with or without supervision. This nature of the ant is a big slap on human beings who with all guides and guardians still remain notorious for negligence.
So wisdom is learning to do what is right with or without supervision…Working together is wisdom…Those who cannot work with others will not be able to accomplish much in life.
The second demonstration of wisdom from ants is team work. Ants are social creatures; they live in large colonies. Depending on the species, ant colonies can consist of millions of ants. Yet they work together for the good of their colonies. This will also shame human beings who have endless squabbles in all their societies. Working together is wisdom; and this is in agreement with divine design. God knows it is ruinous for man to be alone; so He created societies. You probably will not be able to work with everybody; but if you an unable to work with anybody then you have an underlying problem of poor human relations. Those who cannot work with others will not be able to accomplish much in life.
