The Bible repeatedly discussed the presence of the Lord. Depending on its usage, it could mean different things. One way of enjoying God’s presence is by being in corporate worship with others of like faith. So it is possible for a believing couple to generate the presence of the Lord in their home. All it would take is to set apart some time of the day to praise His name, read His word, and pray unto Him. It takes only two to do. The presence of the Lord can keep tension to its barest minimum.
“One way of enjoying God’s presence is by being in corporate worship with others of like faith…we generate the presence of the Lord when we meet with members of the household of faith.”
On a larger scale, we generate the presence of the Lord when we meet with members of the household of faith. It is a clear admonition of the Bible that believers should not neglect to associate with one another in public worship. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25). The Bible has no empty command; if we are asked to share fellowship with others, there must be some blessing attached. The devil can hardly prey on a believer unless he first isolates him from fellowship.
