In all the cases we have cited, none of them applied to see the king. Rather the king sought for their services.

The products that you buy and enjoy are people’s gifts and contributions to you; what you create or do that others patronize are your gifts and contributions to them.

What we are taught is that people should work and have resources not only to meet their needs but become a support for others as well.

Your God-given intellect must be engaged in some productive ventures.

God established the culture of work! The book of Genesis introduced us to a working God.

Saul was manipulated to envy, anger, murder, wrong decisions, and eventual death.

Finally, we know from scriptures that God does not ask anyone to pay for the sin of another. Everybody will face up with their sins. What a great news that God is not asking us to pay for our sins or that of our forebears!

whether in life or in death, Christ must be the centre of it all.

The fact remains that even if He does not come in our lifetime, we will someday depart this earth.

Now, people miss their scheduled flights or bus ride though they were advised ahead of departure time. Doesn’t it therefore sound more precarious on matters that we don’t have a scheduled time?
