An essential strategy of God to doing this is to make His children who had contacted His glory to become His agent in spreading it to the world.
This brings us to our caption – two types of glory. The glory of God can be known as a similitude. “The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.” Exodus 24:17 NKJV

Apart from shut doors, God can also indicate new direction through a persistent desire. So Paul spoke of having a great desire to go to the brethren in Rome.
Our text says that Jesus is the one with the key of David. Note that the key has dual functions – it opens and shuts. It is not only the devil that shuts doors, our Lord also does.
If we do not know that God is interested in stocking us everyday with His blessing, we will not be able to take advantage of what is rightly ours.
Having their names penned down in the Book of Life is what would bring them ultimate blessing.
It is about attitude and positioning. Those with right attitude and position will receive the blessing of the Lord.
