There are clear indications that Paul had a great longing for knowledge. An example of that was when he requested that the books be brought to him.
Before Esther went to see the king, she requested for corporate fasting and prayers. Teaming up with heaven through prayer and fasting can help us beat the odds.
This is why in all choices of leaders in the Bible, charisma played the second fiddle. God always put character on top. Leaders who fit the bill under Moses’ administration were those who “fear(ed) God, men of truth, hating covetousness”. Exodus 18:21 NKJV.
The scripture says, “How forceful are right words…” Job 6:25 NKJV. The right words will bring us right results. They deliver from danger and open doors.
Let us all go to God in reverence and ask that we be circumcised in our hearts. A new heart carries within it new possibilities.
Take note that the joy is derived from the Holy Spirit and not any physical realities. If you have the Holy Spirit in your life, you have joy – at least potentially.
The first persecution that shows up then brings shock. Those who think that following Christ is a piece of cake will soon be overthrown in their faith when trial comes.
Similarly, you don’t wait to know God before you commit to Him. There has to be the initial element of faith by which you leap into God. Once you are in Him, He begins to reveal Himself to you in ways and manners that no one else can.
Our destiny may come dressed in responsibility. Those who duck responsibility are dissociating themselves from a great future.
