Whether short or long prayer, a critical thing to living victoriously is knowing when affirmative action is needed as opposed to praying.

Whenever or wherever you need the supply of the Spirit is good enough to whisper a word to the Lord. While this in no way suggests that long prayer is unnecessary, it is important to bear in mind that what makes prayer effective is the fervency of heart employed.

Prayer sets in motion the supply chain. Now, when God wants to manifest any of His blessings in a life, He employs several means to accomplish it. This is what we can rightly call the supply chain.

In these days and time, we all need to have our theology in place in order not to run into troublous water. In addition to his grasp of God’s word, the reformer also drew strength from constant prayer. A combination of the word and prayer will subdue all saboteurs.

He must have told himself that no opposition can be stronger than the promise of God. As the hymn writer says, we too must be willing to stand firmly on the promises of God to conquer the howling storms of doubt and all forms of sabotage.

ithout mincing words, God’s guidance is the secret to enjoying abundance in an austere world. God’s provision is waiting for you in the place that He wants you to be at each given time. Hard work in a wrong location will yield nothing but frustration.
