The Bible teaches that in all our ways we should acknowledge God, and He will direct our steps. Not giving attention to prayer is in itself evidence of claiming to do things by ourselves, and this will lead to disaster somewhere along the line.
Even on those issues where we seem to have clear edge, we still need to depend on God. This is how we can always see the hand of God stretched out to help us. A do-it-yourself attitude is a recipe for disasters and heartbreaks.
Our learning and expertise will come to nothing without the critical God factor. As you commence another month, don’t trust in the arm of flesh. Rather, make the Spirit of God your strength and stay.
