One vision resonates in another. The lesson is that God’s plan for one life may be inseparably connected to His operations in another life. We see this pattern in Saul, later Paul.

When Peter released himself to the will of the Lord, he was able to move into new territory; the coast of his ministry was extended. There can hardly be any physical expansion of coast without first of all dealing with the limitations imposed by past misconceptions.

Asking for things that we have no right to is an exercise in futility. Even when we have right to what we are asking, we should still keep it in mind that God only makes all things beautiful in His time.

God’s Word is an indestructible weapon, but it only works for those who apply it.

As Christians, our goal should be to please Christ who is our Captain. Even if this puts us in harm’s way, the cause of Christ must be pursued.
