It is important for those who want to enjoy sustained success to share credit with those who make it possible for them to perform at top level. Generous praise for your helpers will inspire them to do more; and that in turn, will make you perform even better.
Pay attention to the gift that God has given you. Work hard on it and develop yourself as well. It is your master key to life.
The church or ministry that thrives is one where everybody is doing what they could for the benefit of all.
On some other occasions, what God uses to keep us from danger is to hitch us up with groups or companies with protocols. As long as we keep within the boundaries drawn by the group we are safe. Violation of rules and procedures spells doom.
One lapse in judgment brought so much ruin. His sense of judgment was beclouded by family ties. His desire to create a thrill for his children went wrong. When it comes to family members or other loved ones, we develop blind spots that could prove injurious.
People of God should not invest their money in just any place; but in the particular field(s) that God indicates. When next you have some money to invest, ask God to show you which direction to go. No one loses their investment following God’s guidance
Judging from this we could say that in designing their meal God had factored in what was most suitable for them at that time. Had they needed something different, God’s loving providence would have supplied that too.
In our passage it is evident that the people preferred losing their freedom if only to satisfy certain appetites. Our call to Christ is designed to change everything – taste, priorities, and all.
Influencers that would bring back our taste for the old life will work a ruin someday. The people that we blend with never leave us the same. This is why we cannot enter any relationship casually.
In these two cases we can assume it was the fire of approval from the Lord that Solomon and Elijah enjoyed. If you are feeling down and low in your spirit and in need of some fire, take to prayer.
