Perhaps more profoundly, fear can damage our walk with God. Fear can make us less responsive to the instructions of God.
While entertaining a reasonable amount of fear can guide against recklessness, crippling fear must be avoided.
It is good to keep an open heart as God can choose to speak to us from unlikely quarters.
