We are generally more ardent at seeking for physical or mundane benefits. Even when we claim we are seeking God, it is typically as a way to satisfy our numerous needs.

If you operate in the marketplace, the Holy Spirit can help you as much as a pastor mounting the pulpit on Sunday morning. I consider that the Holy Spirit is an under-utilized Helper.

Humility manifests in different ways. We touched on one yesterday, that is, restraining from jostling for the highest seat. Another way that humility manifests is when we know the bounds of our authorities.

Since the beginning of this month, we have stressed the need for divine help. It is good to close on this note: the help we seek may come piecemeal, one day at a time, and only when it is needed.

Each of us should have someone who not only inspires us, but also is able to salvage us in crisis moments. On a broader scale, it is heart-warming that Jesus is watching over His own with tender care

Where can one get the assurance of help? It is in divine presence. The stories of two men called by God will help to convey the necessity of divine presence.

Horns are for defenses. The fact that sheep lack them is a pointer to their vulnerability.
